What our numbers mean
Impact figures are easy to inflate. These are the rules we hold ourselves to, so you can read every number on this page and know exactly what it represents.
We count people once
A farmer who attends three health outreaches is one farmer reached, not three.
We count what is delivered, not what is planned
A borehole appears here when it is installed and working — not when it is approved or funded.
We date everything
Every figure carries the month it was accurate. A number without a date is a number you cannot check.
We report what stopped working
If a borehole fails or a community loses supply, the figure comes down. We would rather publish a smaller true number than a larger flattering one.
We don't count the company's work as our own
Psaltry International reaches more than 100,000 farm families through its out-grower programme. That is the company's achievement, not the foundation's.
We say when we don't know
Where a figure is missing here, it is because we have not finished counting it — not because it is inconvenient.
Robiat Fasasi is going to be a nurse.
On 18 March 2026, Robiat matriculated into the Nursing programme at Hillside University of Science and Technology, Okemesi Ekiti. Her parents farm. She uses a wheelchair. Neither fact was going to decide what she became.
We cover her fees. We provided the powered wheelchair she resumed with. The rest is hers.
Fifteen of our twenty-one scholarships have gone to girls. In farming communities where money is short and the boy goes to school first, that is a deliberate correction — not a coincidence.
